Epson R1800 CD Print

Getting the Easy CD Print software for the Epson R1800 on Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard is a real pain, but I think these instructions finally nails it.

Basically, on top of installing the latest Leopard drivers, one has to also install the Easy Print modules and reset the Mac OS X printing system. Unplug the printer, launch Easy CD Print, quit, plug the printer back in, and relaunch Easy CD Print. At which point; it will rescan the system and “collect printer information”.

This should (in theory!) then give you a working copy of Epson’s Easy CD Print – winner of possibly the ‘worst-designed-least-Mac-like-Mac-app’.
